This open house is the perfect setting to work on your homemade holiday gifts for the season or make your holiday look for upcoming parties.  The SW team will be in full holiday spirts with coffee, hot coco, cookies, and holiday movies playing. 

Connection Club Indy will be hosting a DIY Ugly Sweater event in conjunction with StitchWork’s Holiday Open Sew on Sat. Dec. 14th. To participate in the DIY Ugly Sweater event a separate ticket will need to be purchased through Connection Club. Visit IG: @connectionclubindy

Open Sew is an opportunity for past StitchWorks students, graduates of the Industrial Sewing Certificate program and/or Summer Fashion Teen program to continue working on the skills learned in Intro to Industrial Sewing/ Skills 1 class and create their own projects. Only those who have completed SW Intro to Industrial Sewing/ Skill 1 class are permitted for Open Sew.

open sew, monitored by a StitchWorks' team member, is an opportunity to start a new project, complete an old one, or simply practice the skills you learned in our sewing classes. You’ll have access to StitchWorks’ industrial straight stitch and sergers (overlock) machines.

You must bring all your own materials, and project pattern/instructions. StitchWorks will have basic color thread available. It is recommended to bring thread if you would like to match color of your project, though.

PREREQUISITE: Intro to Industrial Sewing/Skill 1

WHAT’S PROVIDED: Industrial straight stitch machines and sergers/overlock machines, iron with ironing board, cutting equipment and large cutting tables. Please bring everything else.

CLASS CANCELLATION: We reserve the right to cancel class if not enough students sign up to participate. Should that happen, you will receive a full refund.
