Create a one-of-a-kind skirt made just for you! In this hands-on class, students will design and sew a personalized elastic waistband skirt—no pattern needed! Using your waist measurements and desired length, you'll learn how to draft directly on fabric and bring your unique vision to life.

This class is perfect intermediate sewists who want to explore custom design while building essential sewing skills. Walk away with a made-to-fit skirt and the confidence to create more!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES:

-StitchWorks will proved , fabric, thread, elastic and all equipment needed (SW will have a variety of fabric options for this class. That said students can bring in there own fabric if desired. Fabric must be a woven fabric that is light to mid weight. Stretch fabric is not suitable for this project.)

COURSE DURATION: 5.5 hours

This class is a combination of instruction, demonstration and  self-passing. Some students may complete project early and are welcome to free sew or leave early

PREREQUISITE: Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 required

LEVEL: Intermediate

MINIMUM AGE: 16
