Description: Get ready for our exciting fall special: The PJ Set - A two-day class! Keep snug this season while crafting your very own PJ Set. This class offers a fun venture into sewing a stylish short sleeve button-up PJ shirt, with an option to choose between shorts or pants. Many of our students have been eager for a multi-day class that allows them to tackle bigger or more complex projects. We're thrilled to say that this PJ set is the perfect introduction to StitchWorks' multi-day classes. As you create your PJ Set, you'll master PDF pattern assembly, pattern cutting, hemming, machine sewing buttonholes, hand sewing buttons, elastic use, collar crafting, top stitching, and more. Just remember to bring your own fabric and buttons for a truly unique PJ Set. Mark your calendars!

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES:

-SW will provide pattern and elastic for waist band, basic color of threads

-Students are responsible for all fabrics and buttons for this project.

The PJ Set Pattern is a women's cut, available in sizes XXS - 3XL (waist sizes 23" to 51"). Suitable fabrics are flannel, fleece, and lightweight cotton. Depending on your size and preference of shorts or pants, you'll need 4-10 yards of fabric. An email will be sent from a SW team member once registered to discuess which PJ set is picked along with a size chart to inform the amount of fabric needed.

COURSE DURATION: Day 1: 2.5. Day 2: 5.5 hours

This class is self passed. Meaning some student may finish early and others may not complete project with in class time frame. Students who complete project early and are welcome to free sew or leave early. In the rare case of a student not finishing project Stitchworks is not responsible for offering additional time.

Day 1 is on Friday, Nov. 22nd from 6pm-8:30pm.
-You'll get to review the pattern, ensure the correct size, and prepare all pieces for sewing.

Day 2 is on Saturday, Nov. 23rd from 9:30am-3:30pm.
-It's all about sewing the PJ top and bottom.

PREREQUISITE: Industrial Sewing, Skill 1 required, at least one previously take Basic Const. class is highly recommended.

LEVEL: Intermediate
