PREREQUISTE : Intro to Industrial Sewing/Skill 1 Required

DESCRIPTION: Join our collaborative class with Lux and Ivy for a quick project in one night. Choose between making an upcycled T-shirt bag or a decorative pillow in this 2-hour session. Doors open 30 minutes early for extra time to review material choices provided by Lux and Ivy.

Bag: Create a unique tote bag by combining a second-hand T-shirt with dead stock black or cream canvas using straight stitch and serger machines.

Pillow: Make a decorative pillow with a second-hand T-shirt and sustainable filling from scrap fabric, using a serger machine and hand sewing.

FABRIC AND SUPPLIES: SW will provide all materials needed for this project. Students are welcome to bring in their own shirt for project if they desire.
