Instructor: Daniele
Description: Make your own cozy crewneck sweatshirt, perfect for Midwest weather. This 4.5 hour class ( morning session - break - afternoon session) is designed to give students a chance to improve and build on sewing skills learned from our Straight Stitch Skill 1 class and concepts in sewing construction. Students will follow a pattern from cut to sew. In the morning session students will learn pattern terminology and markings to best follow directions. Then begin cutting materials and construct a crewneck sweatshirt in their choice of Black or Gray fabric. Through the process of our Sweatshirt Class students review use of overlock/serger machines and straight stitch machines, and learn new skills involving measuring, following pattern, cutting, construction, and stitch techniques, along with use of multiple textiles.
